Our nation’s current tax code is very oppressive and nearly impossible to understand.  In fact, it is longer in length than the Holy Bible!

Our current tax code absolutely must be simplified.  We desperately need a new tax code that will put more money back into the hands of all hard working West Virginian’s.

We do not need more taxes. We need more tax payers. The creation of new jobs means we will have more tax payers. When we have more jobs, with more tax payers, we not only have more much needed tax revenue, but we will have empowered more people to take care of themselves.
In short, everyone wins when we reform the tax code.

I will work for a simpler, flatter, fairer tax code that is shorter and easier to understand.  You have every right to know where you tax dollars are going, and I will make sure every tax dollar that is spent is made known on a government web site so you can keep the Congress accountable.
