As someone who has worked in the health care industry for most of my adult life, I have a firsthand understanding of this issue.  I will bring my insight and experience to Washington to make reform a reality.

In order to bring down health care costs, you the consumer must be allowed to own your health care insurance -- just like you own your car insurance.  You the consumer must be able to have more say concerning which health plans are offered and purchased.  You need more options.

A one-size-fits-all package does not work for health care.  We must allow the private sector to create
more choices for consumers.

We must also enact tort reform to stop frivolous lawsuits against doctors.  This drives up the cost of health care for everyone.

Good health care reform puts you in charge of your health care policy.  That is the kind of reform that I will work towards.
