Energy

There is absolutely no excuse for our nation not to develop our own energy resources.  As your Member of Congress, I will aggressively fight the bureaucrats in Washington, DC to ensure that West Virginia energy and jobs are a top priority.

I truly believe we can respect the environment and develop our own energy projects.  I will not let the extremists in the environmentalist movement dictate our nation’s energy policy.

As we all know, West Virginia is an energy state with an enormous amount of energy capacity. 
Coal currently powers a very large majority of our nation’s electricity production.  Coal truly does
“Keep The Lights On.”  I will fight to keep the “lights on” and let them burn bright for the people of West Virginia.

If West Virginia is going to empower this nation with more energy, we will have to be on the cutting edge of traditional energy production, while creating new energy jobs with new technologies.  The current group of Washington bureaucrats can’t be trusted with such a bold vision.  It will take a new leader with the drive and determination to make our dreams become a reality.
