In order for our nation’s economy to grow again, we must create the conditions for that growth.

First of all, we must create incentives to keep West Virginia business owners in operation, and allow for more business growth.  This means we must repeal a number of terrible Obama policies.

Secondly, we must balance our nation’s budget.  The $15 trillion debt that the Washington bureaucrats have heaped upon us is costing us jobs and opportunities for new business creation. 

The cost in high taxes to pay the debt could be better spent by you and your family.

I will tell Washington that I will not continue to raise the debt ceiling and will not add more job killing debt to our nation’s already beleaguered economy.

A balanced budget is not an option. It is an absolute necessity!

All West Virginia families are expected to form a realistic budget and then live within their means. Our own federal government must do the same.

Third, we must invest in domestic energy production.  Projects like the Keystone Pipeline must be completed.  We must develop our own oil, natural gas, and clean coal technology solutions.

I will not cow tow to the extreme environmentalists.  I will put the people of West Virginia first.
